The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Nino Tsatsiashvili and U.S Charge d’Affaires, Elizabeth Rood attended the closing ceremony of the training on domestic violence investigation.
Tbilisi Police Department, as well as Patrol Police Department representatives and Community Police Officers participated in the training “Domestic Violence Investigation” organized by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
During five day training, instructors from the United States of America shared with the employees of the Ministry their experience on efficient investigation of mentioned crime.
U.S. Charge d’Affaires, Elizabeth Rood awarded the participants of the training with the relevant certificates.
For many years the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) has been cooperating with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, implementing projects on significant directions such as domestic violence, juvenile justice, trafficking, cybercrime, road safety, etc.
