The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi Police Division of Tbilisi Police Department, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained A.K. (DOB: 1981) and A.T. (DOB: 1984) in Tbilisi for burglary.
The committed crime envisages imprisonment from 3 to 7 years in length.
Law enforcers detained both of the individuals on Vepkhistkaosani St. Didi Digomi settlement in the process of loading items stolen from 8 apartments in a vehicle. During the personal search of the detainees special appliances used for unlocking doors were seized.
Investigation found out that in the last three months, A.K. and A.T. committed burglaries of 24 apartments located in Tbilisi and stored part of the stolen goods in their apartments.
As a result of the search activities held in detainees’ houses part of the stolen goods were seized as evidence. At the moment, operative search is underway to locate and seize other goods stolen by the mentioned persons.
Both of the detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of burglary, committed in group, article 177, III part, sub-paragraphs “A” and “C” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
