Mr. Shalva Khutsishvili, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia met the delegation of the Congress of the United Mexican States during its official visit to Georgia. The delegation consisted of the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Congress of the United Mexican States Ms. Gabriela Cuevas Barron; the member of the Congress of the United Mexican States, President of the Two-Chamber National Security Commission Mr. Ismael Hernndez Deras; the member of the Congress of the United Mexican States Mr. Juan Gerardo Flores Ramrez; the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Georgia H.E.Ms. Martha Elena Federica Brcena Coqui.
Mr. Shalva Khutsishvili introduced the guests the reforms implemented in the Ministry of Internal Affairs as well as current and planned projects.
The two parties stressed the importance of international police cooperation, discussed the relations between two agencies and agreed on further deepening of bilateral cooperation.
The members of the delegation of the Congress of the United Mexican States also met the representatives of legislative and executive government of Georgia during their official visit.
