The officers of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities detained T.M. (DoB 1986) for premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances.
The committed crime envisages from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on February 15, on the basis of jealousy, detainee inflicted lethal injuries to his former spouse –Kh.G. (DoB 1996) in her own house, located in Karajala village, Gardabani municipality and fled from the place of crime. Due to the received traumas, the victim died at the place of crime.
Police managed to detain the offender several hours later after the incident.
The weapon of murder- knife was seized by the law enforcers as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder committed against family member under the aggravating circumstances, article 111 and article 109, II part, sub-paragraph “F” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
