The officers of Tkibuli police division of Imereti, Racha-lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department, as a result of search and investigative activities held on the basis of operative information, detained one person in Zedubani village, Tkibuli municipality.
G.G. (DoB 1987, convicted in past) is accused of illegal purchase and keeping of firearm and ammunition.
The committed crime envisages from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.
During the search activities held in detainee’s house and storage building, law enforcers seized “AKC” automatic weapon with one cartridge and 13 magazines as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearm and ammunition, article 236, III part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
