Yesterday, the law enforcers solved the murder case in Tatishvili Street, Vera. As a result of active operative-searching and investigative activities the police officers detained in Tbilisi V. Ts. (DoB: 1975) for premeditated murder. The crime committed by him envisages imprisonment from 7 to 15 years in length.
The investigation established that the offender on March 11, 2018 in Tatishvili Street,Tbilisi, on the grounds of revenge by shooting from a hunting gun fatally wounded his acquaintance G.R. (DoB: 1957) and managed to escape. The wounded G.R. died on the crime scene.
The law enforcers detained the offender in several hours after the incident. The police have seized the weapon of crime - hunting gun - as a material evidence.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
