The officers of Gurjaani Regional Division of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative actions have detained Z.G. (DoB: 1998) on the fact of inflicting severe health injury on purpose.
The committed crime envisages from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused, who was under the influence of alcohol, during a conflict in the village of Velistsikhe, Gurjaani Municipality, with a fellow villager - R.N.(DoB: 1997) wounded him with a cold steel and fled from the scene. The wounded individual underwent relevant medical treatment and his life is not in danger.
Police seized the weapon of crime - a knife as an evidence.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of inflicting intentional severe health injury, article 117 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
