The officers of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities, detained G.M. (DoB 1998) for illegal restriction of freedom.
The committed crime envisages from 7 to 10 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that detainee, along with three accomplices, illegally restricted freedom to A.Kh. (DoB 2002) with a purpose of the forced marriage, in Marneuli and took her from the place of crime by force.
Police officers, as a result of intensive search and investigative activities detained G.M. in Marneuli municipality and safely returned the victim in her house
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal restriction of freedom, article 143, III part, sub-paragraph “D” of the Criminal Code.
