As a result of immediate investigative actions, officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested J.B., born in 1988, on charges of attempted premeditated murder.
The crime envisions up to 15 years in prison.
The investigation established that the accused person, during a confrontation over a domestic matter in Batumi, inflicted wounds to his acquaintances: G.L., born in 1997, and L.Q., born in 1998, with a knife, after which he fled the scene. The wounded men were taken to the hospital, where one of them, G.L., died soon after he was brought to the treating facility.
The police arrested J.B. as a result of immediate activities.
The investigation is underway under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
