The officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained V.K. (DoB 1994) on the basis of the Court’s decision for providing investigation with false information.
The committed crime envisages from 2 to 6 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on August 11, 2018, detainee provided investigation with a false information on purpose, for misdirecting the process of investigation during the interrogation proceedings regarding the murder case of L.S. (DoB 1975) that took place in Saburtalo district.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of providing investigation with false information on purpose or personal motives, article 370, II part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
In October of 2019, three persons were detained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in connection with the mentioned case, while two more persons were changed and declared as wanted.
