Implementing Organization: State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia.

Project Aim: to support effective implementation of the EU policies on immigration as well as consistent dialogue and cooperation with the Eastern Partnership countries. Contribute to the Integrated Border Management of the EU external borders, and support management of legal immigration, including in the area of international protection. Through the deployment of Liaison Officers, prevent and counter illegal immigration, smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings. To support activities of the Liaison Officers of the State Border Guard of Latvia and their direct contacts with the competent authorities in place, regional and local networks of the EU Member States Liaison Officers, and relevant entities operating within respective country, including international organisations.
