The officers of Kutaisi City Division under Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have solved the case of robbery in Kutaisi as a result of operative-investigative activities.
The investigation established that on February 11 of the current year, I.O. physically assaulted A.B. (DoB 1991)- a citizen of the Russian Federation, on Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue in Kutaisi, who was under the influence of alcohol and deprived him of a mobile phone and fled the crime scene.
Law enforcers seized illegally appropriated mobile phone as evidence.
The fact of robbery committed by violence is being investigated under Article 178, Part III, Subparagraph "D" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
