16 German journalists paying a visit to Georgia visited the Emergency Assistance Operative Management Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The guests were hosted by Mr. Giorgi Bichashvili, the Director of the “112”. The guests viewed the call-center, got familiarized with the specifics of the work of the “112” operators and attended the calls receiving and reports processing process.
The foreign journalists got interested in the future plans of the “112” service as well. The guests were provided with the detailed information on functioning of the Unified Emergency Number in the country.
The main goal of the visit of German journalists to Georgia was to get familiarized with the current situation, ongoing and planned reforms, economic and investment environment of Georgia.
Participants of the media tour are the members of Berlin Press Club representing leading mass media of the Federal Republic of Germany.
