The officers of the Main Division for Combat Illegal Circulation of Drugs of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of the searching and investigative activities carried out on basis of the operative information detained Vakhtang P. (DoB. 1981) for drug related crime in Tbilisi.
During the personal search of the detainee the law enforcers seized 6,4096 gr. of heroine, narcotic drug containing 0,0055 gr of buprenorphine, 0,00615 gr of amphetamine and 0,0710 gr of methadone.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in particularly large quantities (Article 260, part III, sub-clause “a” of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
