Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili hosted members of the Georgian Parliament at Joint Operations Center. Minister introduced the multi-functional and high-tech center to the Defense and Security Committee members.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reviewed the aim of creation of the center as well as its function and discussed future plans. Representatives of the legislative body received detailed information on the recent projects of the center, including the wide-scale project- “Safe city, Safe Region, Safe Country”, which implies creation of the video monitoring system across the country and involvement of contemporary technologies in police activities.
Parliament members also received information on innovative, technological novelties implemented in the direction of the traffic safety, envisaging traffic movement regulation, prevention of the car accidents and swift and operative response to the violations.
