Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to inform citizens that in connection with the preparation activities and event dedicated to the Independence Day the traffic movement will be restricted in certain areas of the capital.
On May 22, from 09:00 till the end of the festive activities planned on May 26 the traffic movement will be only one-sided on Pushkin Street and thus traffic will be moving from Freedom Square to Orbeliani Street.
On May 24 beginning from 24:00 traffic movement will be restricted for citizens on Rustaveli Avenue and Rose Square and streets crossing Rustaveli Avenue, namely: Tchavtchavadze, Lagidze, Besiki, Ledia Ukrainka, Tchitchinadze, 9 April, Purtseladze, Usakhelo, Jorjadze, chanturiaa and Meskhia Streets.
On May 26, from 05:00 traffic movement will be restricted on Freedom Square while traffic movement will be partially restricted on Kote Abkhazi, Shalva Dadiani and Giorgi Leonidze Streets.
The traffic will be moving on the following route- Revaz Taabukashvili and Daniel Tchonkadze Streets.
On the above mentioned Streets and Freedom Square the traffic movement will be restored on May 27, after completion of the festive activities.
