The employees of Keda Police Division of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational search measures and investigative actions detained previously convicted J.G. (DoB 1994) for rape.
The committed crime envisions from 10 to 13 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person had sexual intercourse with a disabled person in Keda municipality, using violence, after which he fled from the scene.
As a result of the operative search measures and investigative actions, the law enforcement officers detained J.G. based on the judge's decision.
The investigation into the fact of rape committed against a person with disabilities with prior knowledge of the offender is being conducted under Article 137, Part III of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
