The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia, Heidi Grau.
The parties stressed on the effective bilateral cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the Swiss Confederation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The emphasis was made on the upcoming visit of the Head of the Federal Department of Justice and Police, Karin Keller-Sutter to Georgia in the nearest future.
The Minister of Internal Affairs and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation discussed ongoing events in the region and the subsequent challenges.
Vakhtang Gomelauri wished success to the Ambassador in her professional activities and thanked for the strong support of the Swiss Confederation to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
