As a result of joint activities held by National Central Bureau of Georgia, Ministry of Justice and General Prosecutor’s office and in cooperation with National Central Bureau of Manchester, Vakil Badoev (DoB 1960) who was wanted for murder was extradited from Great Britain.
The mentioned person was wanted under the red notice from March 7, 2007 with the purpose of detention and further extradition. Vakil Badoev was found guilty for committing murder under the article 108 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
On March 15, 2005 detainee, in retaliation, inflicted lethal injury with a cold steel to Tamaz Abramishvili in Norio village and left the crime scene. Due to the received injury the victim died shortly after he was transferred to the hospital. He was detained in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and extradited to Georgia on February 10.
