On the basis of the received operative information, officers of General Inspection conducted drug testing to the personnel of Firefighting Service of Tbilisi Emergency Situations Management Main Division of LEPL Emergency Situations Management Agency with the assistance of Expert-Forensic Main Division.
Six employees of the Ministry were dismissed from their positions for improper police action and illegal consumption of drugs. On the fact of marijuana consumption rescuers and firefighters of Isani-Samgori, Vake-Saburtalo, Gldani-Nadzaladevi and Mtatsminda-Krtsanisi were exposed.
On the basis of the above mentioned, court fined them with 500 GEL under the article 45 of the Administrative Code of Violations on January 26, 2015.
