Employees of Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs underwent a three week long Basic Mountain Training Summer Course. The training was held in the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Defence at Colonel Besik Kutateladze Sachkhere Mountain Training School. The course was guided by instructors of the mentioned school.
The closing ceremony was attended by Director of Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Colonel Zurab Chabashvili and Commander of Besik Kutateladze Sachkhere Mountain Training School Lieutenant Colonel Malkhaz Goletiani. They congratulated graduates upon completion of the course and granted certificates and badges.
In the framework of the training employees of the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department learnt movement in mountains, crossing obstacles as well as rivers, climbing, technique of route selection and planning in high mountains.
The training was aimed at enhancing physical and mountain skills of the employees of Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
