The head of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional Main Division Ivane Zurabishvili, his deputy and head of Mtskheta police division held meeting with pupils from Mtskheta Public School N1 within the frames of anti-drug campaign. MIA representatives acquainted pupils with the campaign and talked about its aim and importance. They made special emphasis on dangers posed by synthetic drugs.
The meeting was held in Q & A format. MIA representatives listened to the pupils’ attitudes towards the mentioned problem and made presentation of the video dedicated to the anti-drug campaign. Doctors who participated in social videos informed public on threats and dangers of the so called bio drugs. Special informative video was also presented to the pupils. Video was prepared by Emergency Response Center 112 by means of which children received information on first symptoms typical after using “bio” narcotics and information on inevitability to call ambulance after detecting first signs of bio drugs addiction.
Ministry of Internal Affairs launched anti-drug campaign on March 24. Slogan of the campaign is “Changing Attitude Together”. Aim of the campaign is the prevention of the use of synthetic narcotics and providing public with information on the mentioned subject. Anti-drug campaign was also held in other regions of the country.
