Officers of Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of activities detained two Turkish citizens: Alim I. (DoB 1977) and Ilhan J. (DoB 1972) for attempting to cross the State Border of Georgia illegally in groups on the territory of N2 border sector (Vale).
Investigation established that detainees attempted to illegally cross Georgian state border without official border control to the direction of the Republic of Turkey.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the attempted crossing of the State Border in group, Article 19, 344, Part II, subparagraph A of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
