Emergency Response Center 112 received report according to which toddler, abandoned by her mother, was in one of the apartments located on Meskheti Street, Batumi. Patrol police officers departed to the place as soon as the report was received. It was established that on February 26, 8 months old child’s mother abandoned her in the rented apartment and left for Turkey.
Patrol police crew contacted ambulance and employee of the Social Service Agency. After the relevant procedures the 8 months old girl was transferred to the hospital for medical examination purposes. The child is being monitored by medics. Her life is not in danger.
