Border Police Coast Guard Department and Investigation-Operative Main Office Western Operative Service personnel, at port of Poti detained vessel „CHELSEA-2“, sailing under Maltese flag on the fact of violation of the navigation rules (in extremely safe navigation region the vessel did not consider movement planning, was not moving according to the stated direction, crossed north-western separating zone).
Investigation was launched concerning captain of the vessel who is the citizen of Russian Federation and was imposed Gel 50 000 fine (according to the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article,Article 1141, Part I) . The vessel was allowed to sail unrestricted after the captain paid the imposed fine.
