The officers of the Coast Guard Department and Western Operative Service of the Investigative-Operative Main Division of the Border Police of the MIA detained Togo-flagged freight vessel “RANIA-H” in Poti sea port on the fact of violation of the rules of navigation. The captain of the vessel was fined in the amount of 50 000 GEL in favor of the budget.
Proceedings against the captain of the vessel (he is a citizen of the Republic of Syria) is launched on the fact of violation of navigation rules (the Article 1141, part I of the Administrative Violations Code). Investigation is conducted by the Investigative-Operative Main Division of the Border Police.
