The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department along with Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Patrol Police Division, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti division of the Special Tasks and Security Police donated blood for the children suffering from leukemia disease.
Ministry of Internal Affairs has been involved in the campaign –“Donate Blood to Save Life” already for four years. Employees of the various MIA departments donate blood for children on the regular basis. This time, 160 MIA officers got involved in the campaign.
The campaign is aimed at decreasing deficiency of blood and blood components for the children with leukemia.
