Mr. Chris Wigginton, the Director of the USA Georgia Public Safety Training Center, Mr. Tony Hightower, the Deputy Director of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center and Mr. Michael Turner, Police adviser of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the Embassy of the USA visited the Service Agency of the MIA.
The guests had a tour around the Service Agency of the MIA and received detailed information about the existing services. The members of the USA delegation got familiarized with the process of passing theoretical and practical examination for obtaining driving license and attended the process of manufacturing the State number plates. Also, the Agency presented its innovative projects the implementation of which is planned in the near future.
The representatives of the USA Georgia Public Safety Training Center paid one week official visit to the Academy of MIA. Within the frames of the visit the members of the delegation visited the Central Criminal Police Department, Patrol Police Department and Kakheti Police Department. The guests were familiarized with the working process of the units of the Ministry and implemented reforms.
