The head of Central Criminal Police Department Ivane Popiashvili met Moldovan Police Deputy Chief Gheorghe Cavaliuc and head of investigative department of Moldovan Police Corneliu Groza. The meeting was also attended by deputy head of Central Criminal Police Ushangi Lomidze and deputy head of Tbilisi Main Division Grigol Beselia.
During the meeting, the representatives of Moldovan Police got introduced with the work principles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia as well as accomplished and planned novelties of the MIA. The participants of the meeting discussed implemented reforms and changes made in the criminal police. Necessary steps taken against organized crime were among one of the most important issues of the discussion. The parties also reviewed topics of bilateral cooperation.
