The delegation of the political leaders of the Democratic Republic of Congo headed by Christian Malanga, the Presidential Candidate visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The aim of the visit was to get familiarized with the ongoing reforms and democratization processes.
The members of the delegation had a special interest towards the Police of Georgia and reforms carried out in the field of civil security. For this purpose, the delegation visited the Academy, the Emergency Situations Management Agency, the Service Agency of MIA and the Emergency Management Center - "112".
Congolese guests got familiarized with the training process of the Academy of MIA, working process of the Service Agency and firefighter-rescuers service. The members of delegation were provided detailed information regarding the implemented and ongoing projects of ”112”. Especially for the guest were made presentations regarding the activities of the subordinated structures of the MIA.
The visit of the political leaders of the Democratic Republic of Congo to Georgia was organized by the initiative of the British organization "Enterprise and Parliament Dialogue International" and support of the Business and Economic Center of Georgia.
