Representatives of MIA General Inspection took part in the annual conference of EPAC-European Partners against Corruption.
At the conference voting procedure was held on General Inspection of MIA to become the member of EPAC. All of the attendees voted in favor of MIA General Inspection to become the member of EPAC.
Joining the EPAC is important in terms of the current reforms directed to Euro integration, accountability, enhancing supervising functions, fighting corruption and ensuring the introduction of the international standards.
EPAC was established in 2004. It is an independent, informal group which unites more than 60 services supervising anti-corruption and police activities of EU and European Council member states. Members of EPAC will share experience, joint strategies and will also work on introduction of the high professional standards. EPAC holds meeting on the regular basis as well as annual conference.
