The Expert-Forensic Department of the MIA by organization and financing of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) held training on the topic - "Preparation of drug samples for chemical expertise." The training was participated by 17 expert-chemists from central and regional laboratories of the Department. The training was provided by the experts of the Lithuanian Police Forensic Science Centre.
The training covered the instrumental examination theoretical and practical studies on modern methods of analysis, processing and validation of preparation of samples of various narcotic substances (ephedrine, METHCATHINONE, amphetamines, phenobarbital, codeine, buprenorphine, tetrahydrocannabinol).
After completing the training, all participants were given certificates.
