By the instruction of Mr. Giorgi Mghebrishvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs the officers of the MIA via helicopters of the Border Police ensured transportation of the citizens travelling in the direction of Russian Federation to the border checkpoint.
Approximately 60 individuals were taken from Kazbegi to Daryal Gorge via police helicopters, while the officers of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department, Patrol and Border Police Departments transported tourists from Daryal Gorge to Lars border checkpoint.
In order to protect the safety of citizens, in Amal-Devdoraki gorge, the movement of vehicles is temporarily prohibited on 134-135 km section of Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Stepantsminda road section damaged as a result of mudflow.
