Within the frames of Anti-drug campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the presentation of the video, made within the context of the campaign was held as well as ceremony of handing relevant certificates was held for students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Within the frames of Anti-drug campaign launched by the Ministry of Internal Affairs which was directed against consumption of the so called “Bio” drugs, 24 students were of the mentioned University participated in the contest- “No to Drugs” students created 30 second special video dedicated to the mentioned problem, wrote story, texts, created soundtrack and shot all by themselves.
The event was attended by the rector of the University Vladimer Papava, Head of MIA Public Relations Department Nino Giorgobiani, Head of the Social and Political Science Faculty Mariam Gersamia as well as students and academic personnel. Students who were involved in anti-drug campaign were handed over certificates and books by the rector of the University for productive work and professional vision.
Along with video presentation photo materials were presented, depicting the ceremony of awarding journalists by the Minister of Internal Affairs within the frames of anti-drug campaign. Aleksandre Tchikaidze awarded students with certificates of gratitude for active participation in the campaign as well as for creating video and the support.
Anti-drug campaign launched by the Ministry of Internal Affairs has reached its goal; the consumption of the so called “Bio” drugs has reduced by 90%.
