Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Geka Geladze, is paying an official visit to the Republic of Armenia. Within the scope of the visit, Minister held a working meeting with Armenian counterpart - Arpine Sargsyan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of peace and cooperation for the stable development of the South Caucasus region.
The parties discussed the close and effective police to police partnership existing between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Armenia.
Geka Geladze and Arpine Sargsyan focused on sectoral reforms, ongoing projects, and the importance of sharing information and experience within the framework of police cooperation.
Minister emphasized that Georgia remains committed to further deepening cooperation with Armenia across various areas.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia is accompanied by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, Director of the Central Criminal Police Department - Davit Kiknadze, and Director of the Patrol Police Department - Levan Maisuradze.
