The officers of Anti-corruption Agency as a result of investigative and operative activities detained the member of Ozurgeti Municipality Assembly from Nasakirali Shota Artmeladze and the representative of the Head of Ozurgeti Municipality in Nasakirali Administration Unit – Tariel Antadze on the charges of bribery.
Investigation established, that the abovementioned persons, demanded and received from citizens of Georgia and Turkey 2000 US dollars and 1000 GEL and assisted them to take on one-year lease inactive school building without receiving relevant permit and procedures.
Law enforcers detained Shota Artmeladze and Tariel Antadze on the fact of bribery in Kobuleti. Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery. (Article 338, part II, subparagraph “G”, that envisages from 7 to 11 years of imprisonment). Investigation is carried out by Anticorruption Agency under MIA.
