The officers of main division for the illegal circulation of narcotics of Central Criminal Police Department along with Patrol Police department, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Gaga K. (DoB 1981), Bekari K. (DoB 1973) and Maka G. (DoB 1980) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs and new psychoactive substance in especially large quantities in the vicinity of Gldani crossroad.
As a result of search held in the car of one of the detainees, the law enforcers seized: 92 packages containing 19, 3896 gr. of drug substance, which according to the expertise contained 5,367 gr. heroin. The officers also seized 3 pills of “Methadone”, narcotic substance containing 0, 0001 gr. of cocaine and 0,276 gr. of so-called “Bio”, which, according to expertise psychotropic substance. The detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs and psychoactive substance in especially large quantities. (Article 260, part III, subparagraphs “A” and “B” and article 260 I prima part.) Investigation is carried out by Central Criminal Police Department under MIA.
