The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held the meeting with the descendants of the cadets who died heroically in the vicinities of Tabakhmela-Kojori area on February 25, 1921; the meeting was dedicated to the soviet occupation day.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Ministers Mr. Merab Malania and Mr. Davit Vardiashvili, also the historians, researchers, representatives of the non-governmental organizations, cadets of the Academy of the MIA and other guests.
The meeting offered the presentation of the books published according to the materials of the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The books contain the memories of occupation of Georgia by the Red Army in 1921, as well as 13 independent stories about the guerrilla bands fighting against Bolshevik government in different regions.
The audience was offered the documentary film shot on the basis of the MIA archive materials. The archive photo material reflecting the same themes was also exhibited.
