On 17-19 may 2016, Within the framework of the EU funded project “Cooperation in the Field of Police of the Eastern Partnership Countries” operational meeting on issues of fighting against drugs took place In Police Academy
The Program aims to strengthen contacts between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries, strengthening cooperation with the EU and deepen collaboration between the Eastern Partnership countries as well as experience sharing, harmonizing and standardizing in the police field.
During the meetings several topics were discussed, namely: new methods of drugs trafficking; controlled delivery; tactics and methods of investigations of drug related crimes national drug control system, legal acts, institutions; responsibilities
Representatives of relevant MIA agencies and Lithuanian experts took part in this workshop.
