The officers of Ajara division of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Besik G. (DoB 1985) in Batumi for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s vehicle policemen seized “CZ” pistol, 1 cartridge and 6 bullets. According to the results of expertise the seized weapon and armament is suitable for shooting. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and ammunition, article 236, II and III parts of the Criminal Code.
