The officers of Zugdidi division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Temur D. (DoB 1987) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
Law enforcers seized AKM automatic weapon with one magazine and 22 bullets as a result of searching activities held in the detainee’s warehouse, located in Akhalsofeli village.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
