The officers of Old Tbilisi Police of Tbilisi Police Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Iranian citizen Omidvar K. (DoB 1986) for selling drugs in especially large quantities and Georgian citizen Gvanca G. (DoB 1993) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
Law enforcers detained Gvanca G. in the moment of purchasing drugs from Iranian citizen for 500 USD. According to the results of expertise drugs seized from Gvanca G. contained 3,3401gr of methamphetamine. During the searching activities held in Omidvar K’s apartment law enforcers seized 39,2585gr of drug substance, containing 36,6696gr of methamphetamine.
Both detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, selling and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph a of the Criminal Code.
