The officers of Kvemo Kartli division Central Criminal Police Department, as a result of operative-investigative activities detained previously convicted for robbery- Ramaz D. (DoB 1974, Lasha N. (DoB 1974) and Luka Tch. (DoB 1969) for preparation of armed robbery.
Investigation established that detainees elaborated plan for committing armed robbery of the office of building company office, located in Vazisubani settlement, Tbilisi. Luka Tch. who was the driver of the Chinese building company provided his accomplices with information on cash in the amount of 100 000 GEL which was stored at the office and explained in details how to penetrate in the office.
Officers of central Criminal Police Department managed to detain Ramaz D. and Lasha N. during operative-investigative activities, while they were driving to the direction of the office with the purpose of committing armed robbery.
During the personal search and searching activities held in the detainees’ vehicle police seized “Bereta” and “Glok” pistols, four masks, eight gloves, two daggers and scotch tape.
Detainees have already pleaded gugilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of preparation of armed robbery, article 18-179, II part, sub-paragraphs A and B of the Criminal Code.
