The officers Investigative-Operative Main Division of the Border Police of MIA as a result of investigative activities detained Mamuka K. (DoB: 1976) for illegal purchase, storage and carrying of firearms and ammunition in Batumi.
During the search of the detainee`s vehicle the law enforcers seized factory-built, foreign-made "NORINCO MODEL 213" pistol and 2 cartridges.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms (Article 236, parts II and III of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
