The standing commission, established on the basis of the relevant decree issued by the Minister of Internal Affairs, liquidated drugs seized from illegal circulation as a result of investigative activities held across the country. Law enforcers destructed 12 kg. and 900gr. of cocaine, 1 kg. and 792 gr. of heroin, 1343 pills of subutex, 2863 pills containing codeine,14 kg. and 425 gr. cannabis, 14kg. and 456 gr of marijuana, 25,6gr. of methadone, 797 MDMA pills, 1820 pills of tramadol as well as various types of new psychotropic substances. The mentioned drugs have been destructed in a special, high temperature oven.
Law enforcers conduct destruction of drugs and psychotropic substances in every three months after receiving relevant decision of the Court.
Process of drug destruction was attended by MIA representatives along with officials from the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs and General Prospector’s office.
