The officers of Old Tbilisi Police Division and MIA Tbilisi Police Department, as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained M.I. (DoB 1983) in Tbilisi for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that on August 16, detainee inflicted multiple wounds with a firearm to his acquaintance – I.DZ. (DoB 1973) and fled from the place of crime. the victim died as soon as he was transferred to the hospital.
Law enforcers managed to detain M.I. as a result of immediate activities. police seized the weapon of murder as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm (article 108 and 236 of the Criminal Code).
