The officers of Zugdidi police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division along with Rustavi police division of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Pante N. (DoB 1993), currently under probationary sentence Timote Kh. (DoB 1996), currently on probationary sentence Davit N. (DoB 1993) and Khvicha Ts. 9DoB 1997) for armed robbery.
Investigation established that mentioned persons assaulted gas station with cut gun and knife on November 27 located in Tsaishi village, Zugdidi and appropriated 700 Gel from the station operators under the threats of liquidation and fled from the place of crime.
As a result of operative-searching activities law enforcers detained Pante N. on the second day after the crime took place while others were taken under arrest on November 29 in Rustavi. The weapon of crime and knife were seized by police as evidence. Law enforcers also seized parts of the appropriated sum.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms, articles 179 and 236 parts I and II of the Criminal Code.
