Minister of Internal Affairs is paying an official visit to the Republic of Armenia. Within the frames of the visit Minister held meeting with General-LieutenantVladimer Gasparian- the Chief of Police of Armenia. Vladimer Gasparian awarded Aleksandre Tchikaidze with medal for developing international cooperation between law enforcing agencies of Georgia and Armenia. At the meeting sides discussed issues of cooperation, reforms recently implemented in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and other activities planned in this direction. Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia also held meeting with Gorik Akopian-Director of National Security Service of Armenia. At the meeting issues of cooperation in the law enforcing sphere, bilateral cooperation and future plans were reviewed.
Within the frames of the visit, meeting with the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is also planned to be held. Minister of Internal Affairs will complete the visit to Armenia on December 2.
