The officers of Kakheti police Department along with Kakheti main division of the patrol police as a result of jointly held operative-searching activities detained Sandro M. (DoB 19960 for premeditated murder and attempted murder.
Investigation established that Sandro M. who was residing next to the building of the Kakheti main division of the patrol police, made a shot with a hunting rifle from his yard and wounded patrol police employee Maia Javakhishvili. Detainee made a mother shot to the direction of police captain Gela Lamazoshvili who went to the incident place for help. Due to the received injury Gela Lamazoshvili died shortly he was
Sandro M. was detained in the attempt to flee from the place of crime. The weapon of crime was seized as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and attempted murder, articles 108 and 19-109 of the Criminal Code.
