The officers of Telavi police division of Kakheti police Department and regional prosecutor’s office as a result of the jointly held immediate operative-searching and investigative activities detained Giorgi N. (DoB 1951) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that Giorgi N. murdered Beqa J. (DoB 1990) with a cold steel on the basis of conflict while his son- Aleqsi N. (DoB 1983) inflicted body injury with a knife to Levan Ch. (DoB 1988) and fled from the place of crime. At this moment the condition of health of Levan Ch. is stable.
Law enforcers detained Giorgi N. several hours later while Aleqsi N. was found later by a cattleman hanged don the tree in Shakriani village. Both weapons of crime were seized by police as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (article 108) and on the fact of bringing to the point of suicide, article 115 of the Criminal Code.
